Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Telehealth

What does that mean?

It means you can keep your appointment or see a doctor or Advanced Practice Clinician without leaving your home.

How does it work?

  1. Make an appointment with your doctor’s office, just like you typically would by phone.
    1. If the office has walk-in medical care (such as an urgent care) you can check-in online at vhurgentcare.com.
  2. The office will then talk with you and determine if a telehealth visit is the best fit for your needs.
  3. If it is, they will collect your contact information and send you a link for a telehealth visit. Once you click the link, you are in the virtual exam room where your care provider will meet with you.

Do I need special equipment for a telehealth visit?

All you will need to meet with a doctor virtually is either a mobile device (iPhone, Android, iPad, tablet) or a computer with internet access and a web camera.

Your provider will let you know if your appointment or visit can be done via telehealth.

How do I check-in online?

To visit a Valley Health Urgent Care location either in person or virtually, check-in online at vhurgentcare.com.
