Second Doses

COVID-19 Vaccine: Second Dose Information

Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines require each recipient to receive a 2nd dose, in the timeframe directed by the vaccine manufacturer: U.S. COVID-19 Vaccine Product Information | CDC.

Process for scheduling a second dose

After you receive a Moderna or Pfizer first dose at one of Valley Health’s four vaccinations clinics, you will receive an email to the address that you registered with for your first dose. The email will contain a link for you to schedule your second dose.

Please do not share this link with anyone, as it will be for second doses only and corresponds to the date and type of vaccine you received for your first dose. Anyone scheduled in a second dose appointment who has not yet had their first dose will be cancelled.

If you did not receive a 2nd dose email, but should have, please be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.

What if I don’t have an email address?

If you do not have an email address or access to someone who can receive the email on your behalf, you will be scheduled for your second dose upon check-out when receiving your first dose.

What if I can’t make the second dose appointment that I signed up for?

Cancellations can be handled directly from your appointment confirmation email. We urge all patrons to prioritize their second dose appointment. Once an appointment is missed or cancelled, a make-up appointment is not guaranteed.

If you have challenges with your second dose appointment or did not receive an email, please contact c19vaccineteam@valleyhealthlink.com.
