    Valley Health offers walk-in care for those in need of urgent but non-emergent medical attention. If you need to see a doctor right away but your medical needs do not necessitate an emergency room visit, you can visit one our Urgent Care centers. Treatment for non-emergent conditions may include cuts/lacerations, sprains, coughs/colds, sore throat/strep, pink eye, earaches, vaccinations and more.     Emergency services are available 24/7 at all six Valley Health hospitals throughout Virginia and West Virginia, with Winchester Medical Center serving as a Level II Trauma Center. Treatment of life threatening emergencies may include chest pain, uncontrolled bleeding, major heart palpitations, sudden change in vision, speech or onset of shortness of breath, protruding or broken bones, serious allergic reaction, head trauma and loss of consciousness. If you are suffering from a life threatening condition, please call 9-1-1.

    Valley Health has over 20 locations in Virginia and West Virginia offering care for various medical conditions from a specialists. Specialty care might include optometry, metabolic & bariatric, ear, nose and throat (ENT), gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine and more. Some locations may offer consultation with a surgeon on general, orthopedic, vascular, oncologic and other specialized surgeries.
