About

Dr. Todd Teigeler is an electrophysiologist with board certifications in cardiology, echocardiography, and internal medicine. As a specialist in heart rhythm disorders, he treats patients who may need pacemakers, defibrillators, or an ablation procedure. He has done hundreds of ablations for atrial fibrillation, and his award-winning work with conduction-system pacing has helped form international guidelines on pacemaker implantation around the world.

Dr. Teigeler received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He attended Brown University where he completed a three-year residency in internal medicine. He then returned to Virginia Commonwealth University for a fellowship in cardiology and an advanced fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

He currently enjoys spending time with his family and doing his best to follow his own cardiology guidelines for healthy living.
