When I saw the doctor I explained what had happened. At the same time we had discussed scheduling my upcoming colonoscopy. Later that day I received a call from a general surgeon wanting to set up a procedure to take care of the hemorrhoid. The bleeding had stopped so I explained I did not want anything done with it. When the Dr talked about the surgeon I thought he was talking about the colonoscopy.
