Urgent Care: Which Location is Right For Me?

Urgent Care: Which Location is Right For Me?

We’ve all been there—you have an illness or injury and aren’t sure who to call or where to go. Valley Health Urgent Care and Urgent Care Express locations both provide care when you need it– but there are differences in the level of care offered.

What is the difference between an Urgent Care and Urgent Care Express location?

Valley Health Urgent Care locations offer a spectrum of care for illness and injury. X-ray and lab services are not available at Valley Health Urgent Care Express, so if you or a loved one has an injury or illness requiring an x-ray or lab work, you may be directed to one of our Urgent Care locations. Many parents are especially relieved to know that our full Urgent Care locations have the staff and technology to perform x-rays and administer stitches!

Of course, if our friendly providers think you need a different level of care, they will always make sure you know where to go to get the treatment you need. Common services and treatments offered at both Urgent Care and Urgent Care Express locations include:

  • Fever
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Sore throat
  • Ear infection
  • Cough
  • Allergy symptoms
  • Insect/animal bite
  • Pink eye
  • Scrapes
  • Sports physicals
