Heidy Cos, MD
About
Heidy Cos, MD, is a surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of abdominal malignancies, including gastrointestinal and pancreatic tumors, as well as skin cancers such as melanoma. Dr. Cos completed her residency in general surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis and her fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem.
With a strong clinical interest in caring for medically complex and frail patients, Dr. Cos is particularly passionate about prehabilitation, helping patients physically and nutritionally prepare for surgery to improve outcomes. She is actively engaged in advancing surgical oncology care through research, collaboration, and a commitment to supporting patients throughout every stage of their surgical journey.
