Tiffany Markwood, LCSW

About

Tiffany currently serves as Program Manager for the Winchester Medical Center and Shenandoah Memorial Hospital Outpatient Behavioral Health departments. Tiffany graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and Union Theological Seminary in May of 2005 with dual graduate degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Christian Education (MACE) after completing undergraduate degree in Psychology from Houghton College in Houghton, NY, in 2001. Tiffany received her License in Clinical Social Work in Virginia in 2008.

Tiffany has been serving the mental health needs of community members in the Shenandoah Valley for over 22 years. Tiffany has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, child welfare, private practice counseling, schools, home-based care, public mental health, community based mental health, and most recently has been providing hospital based mental health care as part of Valley Health’s Outpatient Behavioral Health teams since December 2019.

Over the course of her career, Tiffany has served in direct care and management roles working with children and adults of all ages assisting individuals, families, and professional teams to improve and combat mental health challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and a full spectrum of mood and behavioral difficulties. Tiffany is also a Board Approved Supervisor providing clinical supervision to supervisees in social work that are working towards licensure.
