Olivia Helsley, MA

About

Olivia is a Resident in Counseling with experience in substance use and vocational counseling. She has worked with teens and adults in a variety of settings, helping people navigate challenges and move toward their goals. Olivia graduated with her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is currently working towards her licensure. She has a passion for working with people and believes creating a warm, accepting environment is the fundamental first step in helping individuals feel comfortable and realize their own potential for growth. 

Olivia focuses on person-centered and DBT approaches to emphasize empathy and collaboration, while also integrating  evidenced-based skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal communication. She strives to establish a supportive relationship where people feel heard in order to make meaningful and sustainable change.
