Mary Roxer, MHR

About

Mary Roxer, MHR, serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Valley Health. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and leads all human resources strategy and operations across the system.

Roxer joined Valley Health in 2015 as Manager of Total Rewards and has held several leadership roles, including Director of Total Rewards and HR Compliance and Vice President of Total Rewards and HR Operations. Prior to joining Valley Health, Roxer held HR leadership roles at Helios HR and Virginia Regional Transit, where she led strategy, compliance, and organizational development efforts.

She earned a Master’s in Human Resources, a Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College. Roxer is an active member of Society of Human Resources Management and serves on several advisory boards, including the PHILIP Stop Loss Advisory Board and the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association’s Employee Wellbeing Advisory Committee.
