Iyad Sabbagh, MD, MBA, serves as the Chief Physician Executive and President of Valley Physician Enterprise, where he oversees urgent care centers and employer health clinics. Dr. Sabbagh is dedicated to the growth and development of Valley Health physician practices, including a robust primary care network and specialties such as gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and other areas where timely access to care is essential.

Dr. Sabbagh has over 13 years of senior healthcare management experience within multi-hospital systems. Most recently, he served as vice president, chief quality officer, and associate chief medical officer for Northern Light Health, a nine-hospital, not-for-profit health system in Maine with over 10,000 employees, a 690-member employed physician group, and nine long-term care and residential facilities.

Dr. Sabbagh earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus, School of Medicine in Syria and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, University of Illinois in Chicago. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE). He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
