Dr. Johnson and her husband, Mark, are both from the Shenandoah Valley. After completing her Pharm.D and Pharmacy Residency, she has for many years practiced and taught in academic pharmacology. She is a faculty member for the nearby Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy, and also teaches in the P.A. program. For the residency, Dr. Johnson runs our Pharmacology Curriculum, which includes lectures and seminars, clinical activities (e.g., our Coumadin Clinic), as well as consultations and chart reviews in the office, nursing home, and hospital. She regularly publishes articles and updates in journals of Family Medicine and Pharmacy. She and her husband have two children. She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
