Total Joint Replacement
Our joint replacement specialist uses a tissue-sparing approach to knee replacement that utilizes a side entry point for the procedure, in which muscles and tendons surrounding the knee are separated rather than cut. This preservation of tissue often results in less pain, swelling and stiffness, and a faster recovery when compared to traditional midline knee replacement. We also offer cementless partial and total knee replacement, using press-fit implants, which preserve more of the natural bone and ligament structure, enabling preservation of more natural range of motion. Our practice also offers direct anterior hip replacement, which is a tissue sparing technique that requires a smaller incision and preserves muscles and tendons surrounding the hip. Our team’s comprehensive offering of minimally invasive and tissue sparing knee and hip replacement techniques gets patients back on their feet quicker, with less pain and scarring, so they can get back to living their active lifestyles sooner.
