Hampshire Memorial Hospital CPR Events

According to the American Heart Association, CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or even triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival. In recognition of National CPR and AED Awareness Week, June 1-7, 2017, Valley Health is offering a number of opportunities for community members to learn this life-saving skill.

Hampshire Memorial Hospital (HMH) will demonstrate hands-only CPR June 1-2, 9-10 a.m. both days, in the hospital lobby.

Hands-only CPR training will also be available on June 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the Slanesville Fire Hall and on June 6, 3:30-5:30 p.m., at the Food Lion in Romney.

HMH will offer CPR Anytime classes (non-credentialed) free to the public at the Levels Fellowship Community Building on June 4, 2 p.m., and June 5, 6 p.m., at the Springfield Ruritan Building.

Those who wish to earn CPR certification can register for one of two Heartsaver CPR classes scheduled at the hospital on June 6 or June 7. The cost of the Heartsaver class is $20. Call HMH at 304-822-4947 to register for either CPR Anytime or a Heartsaver CPR class.
