Valley Health Opens New Fertility Practice

Valley Health is proud to announce the opening of Valley Health Fertility, a new practice that brings advanced fertility care to the Shenandoah Valley.

building exteriorThe new practice will offer specialized care for women and couples facing fertility challenges and reproductive health concerns, providing advanced fertility services closer to home. Valley Health Fertility began seeing patients Monday, October 6, 2025, at 611 W Jubal Early Dr, Suite A1 in Winchester.

“By adding a dedicated practice focused on reproductive medicine, we are empowering families in our community and providing access to advanced fertility care close to home,” said Iyad Sabbagh, MD, MBA, Chief Physician Executive and President of Valley Physician Enterprise. “We’re extremely excited to broaden our offering of comprehensive women’s health services for patients in our community.”

Valley Health Fertility will be led by Trimble Spitzer, MD, a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility sub-specialist.

Dr. Spitzer will provide evidence-based care and treatment for the following conditions:

  • Infertility 
  • Recurrent pregnancy loss 
  • Fertility preservation 
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) 
  • Endometriosis 

“Our goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs,” said Dr. Spitzer. “Whether someone is struggling to conceive, facing recurrent pregnancy loss, or planning for future fertility, we are here to support them with expertise and empathy.”

Services offered include:

  • Diagnostic testing: to assess for underlying hormonal, metabolic and anatomic causes for infertility 
  • Semen analysis: to assess sperm count and other parameters that may affect reproduction 
  • Ovulation induction: to stimulate egg release and increase the chance for conception 
  • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)  
  • In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) monitoring services  (ultrasound and bloodwork)
  • Care for endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
  • Fertility preservation
