Dr. Ashcraft received his pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy and he received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency and his Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Ashcraft was a pharmacist for four years before going to medical school.

As a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesia, Dr. Ashcraft also holds board certifications in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesia. He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society.

Dr. Ashcraft has nearly 20 years experience in interventional pain management. He had spent the last few years at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina treating Wounded Warriors, Special Forces, 82nd Airborne, and dependents. Dr. Ashcraft joined the practice in 2012.
