About

Joshua Prickett, DO, FACOS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with expertise in neuro-oncology, spinal and skull base neurosurgery ─ including minimally invasive approaches and endoscopic skull base surgery with a special interest in pituitary pathology.

Dr. Prickett completed his residency training at Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia and his fellowship in skull-base, pituitary and minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgery at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington in 2019. He joined Virginia Brain and Spine Center | Valley Health in July of 2022 and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.

Dr. Prickett is from a small town outside of Houston, TX. In his free time, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their daughter at the lake or beach. He is a bit of a history buff and enjoys hiking, ultimate frisbee and the guitar.
