About

Jena Skrosky, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and U.S. Navy veteran specializing in cardiology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University, where she developed a passion for cardiovascular medicine through advanced coursework and clinical rotations.

Jena began her medical career while serving in the U.S. Navy, where she developed the discipline, resilience, and clinical versatility that continue to guide her practice today. Her professional foundation includes experience in emergency medicine, managing high-acuity patients, and honing her skills in rapid assessment, complex decision-making, and compassionate communication.

In addition to her clinical work, Jena serves her community as a contracted medical examiner for Frederick and Loudoun counties. She is also committed to advancing the PA profession through scholarly and volunteer contributions. She serves as an affiliate faculty member and preceptor with Shenandoah University and is a peer reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of PAs. She also volunteers as an item writer for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, helping shape the future of PA certification and education.

Jena brings a diverse clinical background and dedication to service to the Winchester Cardiology and Vascular Medicine team. She looks forward to caring for patients and families in the Winchester community.
