  • Categories: Parent Education Classes

About This Event

  • Event Type:Parent Education Classes
  • Max Capacity:10
Details:

A safe space for parents and caregivers to share, learn, and grow with their child.

This is class one of four. Attend one or multiple!

Stepping Stones is a program designed for caregivers and infants, ages 0-6 months, to come together and meet with professionals to learn more about early development, share their achievements as well as their needs, and help with growth towards developing early milestones.

Your baby will develop in lots of different ways throughout their life, but we really feel that the first year is so important for setting them up for the rest of their lives. Developmental milestones are really little moments that add up to the big picture of your child growing up to be independent. We look at these milestones, or “stepping stones” as steps to get to the next step in their development. Although we can’t slow down time, what we can do together is ensure that they are hitting each and every one of those steps, so that they can learn, grow, and thrive!

By attending all classes, participants will learn more about:

  • Post- Natal and Post-Partum Care
  • Developmental Milestones
  • Caregiver and baby connections
  • Equipment and Activities
  • Community Resources

There will be an opportunity for questions, discussion & one-on-one troubleshooting - This is as much about supporting your baby as it is about supporting YOU! Some "supplies" will be provided but please bring your own blanket. You are welcome to bring a couple of your baby's favorite toys but this is not necessary.
