Community Commitment

Join the team that makes a career out of giving back.

People who work at Valley Health believe that it’s more than “just a job.” As a non-profit company, Valley Health puts resources back into the community. From our commitment to community service to the $187 million we gave back to the community in 2022, we are service-minded.

Investing in Our Community’s Health

Valley Health’s six nonprofit hospitals have been pivotal to the health of their communities for decades. We continue to provide needed services, invest in new and improved facilities and technology to ensure access to care in our region.

In addition, we collaborate with other community agencies to further their health-related missions.

And we provide financial assistance to reduce the burden of care for those struggling to make ends meet. Last year, Valley Health assumed $67.3 million in the cost of care for patients.

$187 million Community Benefit Programs plus unreimbursed medical care for seniors and uncollected fees for services provided to patients of all ages.

Investing in Our People

We provide our caregivers with competitive compensation, career growth opportunities and are proud to be the healthcare employer of choice in our community.

We support career journeys with tuition reimbursement and opportunities for professional development are built into every Valley Health role.

Last year we spent over $12.9 million training healthcare professionals, keeping you at the top of your field is one of our priorities.

Every year hundreds of students in college-level nursing, pharmacy, physical/occupational therapy, and other health sciences programs enhance their educational experience through preceptorships with Valley Health experts.

Investing in a Better World
