Medical Benefits

Valley Health partners with Innovation Health (VA, MD, DC) / AETNA (WV and all other states), to provide medical benefit options to all full-time and part-time employees.

Dental Benefits

Valley Health offers comprehensive dental insurance in partnership with Delta Dental, with basic, or enhanced plan options. Our program Healthy Smile, Healthy You offers an additional cleaning and exam for pregnancy, and eligible health conditions that impact oral health.

Wellness

Valley Health is committed to the overall wellbeing of its employees. All employees have access to the following:

Care for the Caregiver

Care for the Caregiver is a program that assists Valley Health Caregivers in coping with the emotional distress of a traumatic event at work through timely crisis intervention. It is short-term emotional support provided by more than 50 trained Critical Incident Stress Management peer supporters to provide an empathetic listening ear, low-level psychological intervention and facilitate pathways to additional help as needed.

Paid Time Off

Valley Health offers a robust Paid Time Off (PTO) program with the flexibility to allow you to control how you use time earned. Eligible employees begin earning PTO from their first day of employment.

Dependent Care

Our on-site child care center provides a secure atmosphere, to allow employees to focus on career responsibilities, knowing their child is in safe care. For more information, visit our Child Care Center page.

Our Care@Work resource expands employee access to affordable and available child care and adult care across our region. This program also offers vetted and cost effective resources for academic tutoring, house cleaning and pet sitting.
