Heather

What do you like about working with your son? A 16-year-old could choose to spend their afternoons in a variety of ways, so it is endearing to me that my teenager is willing to work at the same facility as his mom. When I have to stay later in the afternoon and know that I'll get to see Brady coming to the unit to restock our fridge, it makes my day.

Why did you choose Valley Health? I chose Valley Health, specifically Warren Memorial Hospital, because I wanted to begin my nursing career in my own community and wanted a short commute. I was the final student at the Women’s Care Center at WMH, and despite L&D being my desired path, I felt it was important to serve my community by improving health, which is the mission of Valley Health.

Brady

What do you like about working with your mom? I like working with my mom because it shows me another side of her life other than just taking care of me and my brothers. It’s nice knowing I can go see and talk to her when we do work together. It really skyrockets my mood.

Why did you choose Valley Health? I chose Valley Health because it’s where my mom works, and she said lots of good things about working here, so it really encouraged me to apply and get a job.
