Each year approximately 30 volunteers donate 1000 hours of time and energy to the hospital, supporting the paid staff and assisting patients and their families. Volunteers plan fundraisers throughout the year, assist with special parties/functions, and also greet patients at the hospital’s main entrance.

Our Long Term Care volunteers provide group activities such as:

  • Religious services
  • Sing a longs
  • Music
  • Parties

Requirements to Volunteer:

  • Friendly and personable
  • Interview and volunteer orientation
  • Respect confidentiality
  • Dependable
  • Follow hospital rules
  • Take annual TB test
  • Age 18 and older
