Employee Referral Program

At Valley Health, we believe our exceptional team members are the foundation of our culture and key to our success at providing safe, high-quality care with high reliability. As experienced professionals, you likely have a network of dedicated colleagues who would welcome the opportunity to work (and perhaps live) in a community like ours.

Valley Health's expanded employee referral bonus program includes a $1,000 and up to $5,000 bonus (depending on position) for the referring employee. Exclusions apply.

What Positions are Included in the Program

  • All FT and PT positions qualify for the referral program
  • The person being referred must be an external hire. Internal transfers or promotions are not eligible.

How Does The Program Work

  • The current team member must ensure the new applicant puts the current team members’ full name on their application as the person who referred them
  • Referral bonus is paid in two installments
  • 1st Installment of half is paid after new hire has been employed for 90 days
  • 2nd Installment of the other half is paid after new hire has been employed for 12 months
  • Both the referring team member and the newly hired team member must remain actively employed by VHS in order to receive the first and second installment of the bonus
  • If multiple employees refer the same candidate, the candidate will select who should receive the referral bonus
  • If a Valley Health employee is a part of the hiring process for the referred candidate, they are not eligible for the referral bonus
  • Recruiters, Physicians and VHS employees with a title of Supervisor, Manager, Director, VP and other leader roles do not qualify for the referral bonus program
