What We Offer

Our services include:

  • Medical Oncology and Hematology: Treatment with cancer-fighting medicines, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We also care for blood disorders such as anemia and leukemia.

  • Interventional Pulmonology: Procedures to diagnose and treat lung conditions, including lung cancer, using small tools and cameras inserted through your mouth or nose.

  • Patient Navigation Team: Nurses and care coordinators, along with social work support, is available to guide you through appointments, treatments, and resources.
  • Nutrition Counseling: Support from registered dietitians to help you stay strong and manage side effects during treatment.
  • Genetic Counseling: Help understanding your family history and genetic risks for cancer.
  • Cancer Rehabilitation: herapy to help you regain strength, manage pain, and improve your quality of life. Valley Health Wellness & Fitness Center, located on the Winchester Medical Center campus adjacent to the Cancer Center, offers rehabilitation and personal training programs.   • Survivorship Care Planning: A personalized plan for your health after treatment ends.

Accredited Cancer Care

Valley Health Cancer Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer, a program of the American College of Surgeons. This means we meet high standards for quality and safety, and we use a team-based approach to care. Your treatment plan may include input from surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists.

We are also accredited by:

  • National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer: We were the first center in the tri-state region to earn this recognition in 2021.
  • American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO): Our radiation oncology program meets the standards of ASTRO’s APEx Accreditation Program for Excellence.
  • National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers: Our breast care program has held this accreditation since 2009.
