Valley Health Receives Recognition for Risk Management

On May 20, the Valley Health Employee Health team received the Risk Management Commendation Award from PMA Companies, a recognized leader in providing risk management solutions, specializing in workers’ compensation and general liability for large employers across various industries.

Valley Health received the award for its reduction in workplace injuries and investment in training, process improvement and safety leadership.

From 2023 to 2024, Valley Health saw a 10% decrease in total insurance claims and a 53% reduction in long-term insurance claims.
