Valley Health Opens New Cardiac and Vascular Diagnostic Center

Valley Health Opens New Cardiac and Vascular Diagnostic Center

New Center Brings Multiple Services into One Location

Valley Health’s new Cardiac and Vascular Diagnostic Center officially opened its doors for patient care on June 23, following a ceremonial ribbon cutting the prior week. A department of Winchester Medical Center located on the ground level of the Heart & Vascular Medical Office Building in the Clyde A. Smith Heart & Vascular Center, the new center brings together Valley Health’s echocardiography, stress testing and vascular studies in one dedicated location for greater patient convenience.

The state-of-the-art center includes 18 rooms for cardiovascular diagnostic testing and will offer easy patient access in close proximity to Valley Health’s cardiology and vascular surgery practices.

The new center doubles Valley Health’s capacity for nuclear stress testing while also increasing access to both echocardiography and vascular ultrasound services.Tonya Smith at ribbon cutting event

“We’re very excited to unveil this new department of Winchester Medical Center, which will offer greater convenience for patients and help us deliver cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic care more efficiently,” said Tonya Smith, Valley Health Chief Operating Officer and President of Winchester Medical Center. “We want the care we deliver at Valley Health to be as seamless as possible; every step along a patient’s care journey should be easy to access and navigate.”
