Dr. Rehan Waheed is a fellowship-trained Interventional Physiatrist born and raised in Hagerstown, MD. He earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and thereafter completed a traditional rotating internship at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He then went on to complete his residency training at Tufts Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident; followed by an ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Waheed specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of painful conditions of the back, neck, shoulders, knees, ankles and hips with Valley Health Interventional Pain Specialists. He also has a special interest in neuromodulation and speaks nationally on the subject. Dr. Waheed is currently a clinical assistant professor for the West Virginia University School of Medicine and sits on the Editorial Board of the Pain Physician journal. He has previously served on the National Resident Physician Council of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as on the GME Council at Tufts Medical Center.
