Rachael M. Cordova, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in surgical oncology and colorectal surgery. Rachael attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree and completed her physician assistant studies at Shenandoah University. She began her career in family medicine, where she focused on patient education and chronic disease prevention. She also has experience working with young adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and has been active in chronic illness advocacy.
As she continues her professional journey in surgical oncology, Rachael has developed a strong interest in cancer survivorship, managing bowel dysfunction after major pelvic surgery, and supporting secondary prevention following a cancer diagnosis. She is passionate about helping patients navigate life after treatment and is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care.
