Mesfin Shibeshi, DO, is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who treats all general orthopedic conditions as well as complex joint conditions using advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Shibeshi completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction, and performs both primary and revision total joint replacement procedures for the knee and hip. His goal is to partner with patients and help return them to their highest possible functional level.

Robotic-Assisted Total Joint Replacement
Dr. Shibeshi performs robot-assisted total knee replacement procedures at Warren Memorial Hospital. Using this technology, Dr. Shibeshi is able to create a 3D model of a patient’s knee before surgery, allowing for precise planning of incisions and implant placement. The robotic surgical technology offers a level of personalization and precision that can limit soft tissue damage, preserve bone and reduce post-surgical pain for some patients. Dr. Shibeshi is using this technology to aid in same-day total knee reconstruction procedures at Warren Memorial Hospital, as well as complex knee replacement cases.
