Jennifer H. Mooney, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from King College in Bristol, TN. Jennifer has over 27 years of healthcare experience in a variety of areas including neurology, orthopedics, cardiology, respiratory, oncology, medical-surgical, hospice, intermediate care unit, and intensive care units. She also has experience in education and served as an Associate Professor of Nursing before joining Valley Health.

Her patient-focused care is characterized by collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and shared decision-making with her patients.

I continually recommend Jennifer Mooney as she not only listens to me but takes what I say seriously and includes me in my medical decisions. She also never rushes through an appointment or makes me feel as though she wants/needs to be somewhere else. I left my previous provider because they did that every time, I saw them and would only focus on one part of my health. Jennifer helps with my entire well-being and never makes me feel like a burden. She has advised us, given us information and cheered us on over the years. I've never had a doctor who cared so thoroughly for me or my family - Jennifer provides the kind of care I searched for over 30 years for.

Rinker's office is my choice only in the valley. The best staff you could ask for. They make you feel like family they really care about your well being and making you as comfortable and happy as possible when you are not feeling well.
