Dr. Ziayee is a fellowship-trained interventional neurologist with advanced expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of acute ischemic stroke and brain aneurysm. In addition to emergent stroke care, Dr. Ziayee provides treatment for patients with carotid disease and intracranial vessel anomalies.
Following medical school and residency, Dr. Ziayee completed a Vascular Neurology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Stroke Institute and an Endovascular Neurological Surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. A native of Alexandria, Dr. Ziayee was excited to return to Virginia to serve our community.
