About
Erika Metzler Sawin, PhD, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) specializing in family medicine in a primary care setting. Erika received her master's degree in community health nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Virginia. She received her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner concentration) at James Madison University.
Along with providing care at Valley Health, Erika also teaches nursing at James Madison University. She is proud to be part of the Valley Health team that creates healthier communities in Page County.
