About
Angela Petry is a dual board-certified Advance Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Palliative Care. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Shepherd University and went on to obtain a master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from West Virginia University (WVU). Angela received a Doctor of Nursing Practice through WVU, where she focused her research in palliative care and advance care planning.
She has worked in multiple fields of nursing throughout her career. As a nurse practitioner, she has worked with geriatric populations in long-term care and family practice settings. She continues to work in the hospice field for Hospice of the Panhandle in Martinsburg, WV.
Angela is committed to helping her Valley Health Palliative Care patients receive high-quality care that promotes the best quality of life.
