About

Amanda Ross, DNP, FNP-BC, is a triple-board certified Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background. Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Amanda began her educational journey at Oakland University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master’s in Nursing Education.

Dedicated to advancing her practice, Amanda completed an Emergency Nurse Practitioner Post-Master’s Certificate and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Vanderbilt University. Since 2013, she has been a practicing nurse practitioner, gaining extensive experience across multiple specialties, including emergency medicine, family medicine, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant medicine.

Amanda is enthusiastic about focusing on cardiology to serve patients in rural communities and increasing access to care. Her philosophy of care is "meeting the patient where they are," which allows for tailoring of the care plan to align with current capabilities, resources, and goals, while recognizing and respecting a patient's values, beliefs, and principles.
