About

Amanda is a Nurse Practitioner with the Valley Health Metabolic & Bariatric Program. She started her career as a Registered Nurse at Winchester Medical Center from 2007-2013. Amanda gained experience as a nurse in various units within the hospital, including bariatrics. She graduated from Shenandoah University Nurse Practitioner program in 2013.

She has experience as a Nurse Practitioner in orthopedics, where she worked for five years, and in urgent care for two years. Her primary focus with the Metabolic & Bariatric Program is preoperative and postoperative care of our surgical patients and assisting in the medical weight loss program. She looks forward to assisting patients through their weight loss journey.
