Tariq A. Nayfeh, MD, PhD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacements. Dr. Nayfeh attended medical school at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he pursued a dual-degree program, earning both his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy. He completed his residency at the Ohio State University and his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Missouri Bone and Joint Center.

As a joint replacement specialist, Dr. Nayfeh is experienced in all ranges of joint replacement, from simple minimally invasive replacements to the most complex revisions. He was among the first surgeons in the Baltimore-Washington area to successfully perform an anterior hip replacement. Since then, he has gone on to perform thousands more.

Dr. Nayfeh's priority is to utilize the latest technology to provide compassionate, individualized care to all his patients.
