About
Charbel Fawaz, MD, is a board-certified general neurosurgeon with expertise in minimally invasive and complex multi-level spine surgery. He completed his neurosurgery residency in Canada at University of Sherbrooke with enfolded subspecialty training in spine surgery and epilepsy surgery at McGill University. He served as an examiner and exam quality reviewer on the Neurosurgery Examination Board for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
He currently serves as a reviewer for The Spine Journal and World Neurosurgery. Dr Fawaz is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.
