About
Sandra Donahue, MD, started her medical career in Lisbon, Portugal, and then moved to the United States to complete her internal medicine residency through the University of Maryland - Capitol Region. Dr. Donahue has been an internal medicine hospitalist at Winchester Medical Center for several years. In 2021, Dr. Donahue became the Medical Director for Sound Physicians at Warren Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Donahue has enjoyed her role as an inpatient clinician, leading teams through implementation of new workflows, including bedside rounding at Warren Memorial Hospital. She is a firm believer in the importance of empowering her team with clinical knowledge and tools that serve process improvement for patient safety.
She has enjoyed her leadership journey to System Medical Director for Sound Physicians in 2023, supporting all Valley Health hospitalist teams. Dr. Donahue serves as core faculty for the Valley Health Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Donahue believes that the most important values that drive clinical excellence are communication and collaboration. She is committed to making a positive impact in the community she serves.
