About
Austin Nichols, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He earned his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in exercise physiology with an emphasis on aquatic therapy. Dr. Nichols completed medical school at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Dr. Nichols is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to all patients. He practices full-spectrum family medicine, caring for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. He dedicates time to caring for patients at local nursing homes, ensuring that members of the community receive compassionate and comprehensive care at every stage of life.
Dr. Nichols is deeply connected to his roots in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he grew up and developed a strong sense of community. His professional journey is shaped by a commitment to serving others and making meaningful connections with patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Nichols enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, and their two children and two dogs.
