What you can do

Depending on your insurance, you can take the following action:

Commercially-Insured Patients

  • Talk to your employer about your continued access to Valley Health’s high-quality caregivers and services. Valley Health has long-term contract agreements with all other major health insurance companies. Talk to your employer about considering a different insurance provider in the future.

Federal Employees

  • Consider switching insurance plans during the upcoming Open Season Benefits Enrollment Period. Valley Health has agreements with all other major insurance companies, all of which provide you with in-network options.
  • The Federal Benefits Open Season Enrollment Period is: November 9 – December 14.

Medicare-Insured Patients

  • Consider switching your Medicare coverage during the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period to a plan that is in-network with Valley Health and our team of caregivers.
  • We encourage you to consider all of your 2021 health insurance options during the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period from October 15 – December 7.
  • We have team members standing by to answer your questions and help you navigate this change. Valley Health has partnered with MedicareCompareUSA to provide free, one-on-one support. By calling MedicareCompareUSA toll-free at 855-380-4778 you can:
  • Receive free, personalized assistance from a licensed insurance agent who will help you find a new Medicare plan that will allow you to receive in-network, uninterrupted care from your current Valley Health doctors and other caregivers.
  • Compare plans and receive free enrollment assistance for the Medicare Advantage plans accepted by Valley Health in 2021.
