Valley Health Announces Recipients of 2026 Community Partnership Grant Program

Valley Health is excited to announce that 14 local non-profit organizations have received Community Partnership Grants from Valley Health.

As a not-for-profit health system, Valley Health is committed to strengthening the health of our community beyond the bedside by reinvesting excess revenue into programs and partnerships that address local needs. For years, the Community Partnership Grant Program has been one of the ways Valley Health supports organizations working to improve health and well-being across our region.

The grants are one-year awards totaling $195,000 and are designed to address critical health needs within our community.

“Valley Health is proud to support and partner with area community agencies to address our local region’s critical health concerns,” said Jason Craig, Senior Director of Community Health for Valley Health. “Our partnership with these organizations helps us maximize our resources for more meaningful impact on persistent health trends and disparities affecting our community.”

This year’s grant recipients are as follows:

$2,500: Blue Ridge CASA for Children (Staunton, Va), Community Works 4 Page (Page County, Va), Girls on the Run Shenandoah Valley, and Morgan County Wellness Center (Berkeley Springs, WVa)

$10,000: Community Markets Inc. (Shepherdstown, WVa), LIA Center (Stephens City, Va), Page One (Page County, Va), The Laurel Center (Winchester, Va), Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission (Martinsburg, WVa), and WATTS (Winchester, Va)

$25,000: Cars Changing Lives (Front Royal, Va), Hike Kidz Foundation (Front Royal, Va), and Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc. (Berkeley Springs, WVa)

$50,000: CCAP (Winchester, Va)

Grant recipients are selected through a competitive application process that evaluates how proposed projects align with Valley Health’s Community Health Improvement Plan priorities, informed by the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment, including access to health and wellness resources, healthy eating and active living, mental wellness, and housing stability.
