Family Connections: The Fauvers

At Valley Health, we love to highlight family members who work together and who share the same passion for patient care. Let's meet Patty and Abi, a mother-daughter duo who work together at the Consolidated Service Center. Patty has worked at Valley Health for 38 years, while Abi started a year ago this past June.

Why did you choose Valley Health? 

I moved here in 1988 from Alexandria, VA, and I worked at Fort Belvoir in Logistics. Purchasing was a perfect fit. 

What do you like about working at Valley Health? 

I love my job because I know what I do assists our medical staff to be able to take care of our patients. 

What do you like about working with your daughter? 

It makes me proud to see my daughter working hard and enjoying what she does!

Why did you choose Valley Health? 

Because my parents work and have worked for Valley Health (My dad retired from the Facilities department).

What do you like about working at Valley Health? 

I like feeling like I’m helping people. 

What do you like about working with your mom? 

When I have a question about something, my mom always has the answer.
