Hampshire Memorial Hospital Long-term Care is dedicated to providing quality care for those who can no longer care for themselves. We offer skilled nursing care including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our staff to resident ratio in this 30-bed unit allows us to give the best care possible. In fact, we have received national recognition for our Long-Term Care residents' satisfaction. As a part of Hampshire Memorial Hospital, direct access has many advantages for the residents, including the ease of access to acute medical care for emergencies.
In many cases, long-term care is not limited to medical care—such as skilled nursing, IV antibiotics, and therapy. Many patients also require assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs) and / or instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
Examples of ADLs and IADLs include:
Long-term care members and their family members receive monthly activity calendars.
