Megan C. Collins, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in urology. She earned her bachelor of science in biomedical sciences, with minors in Spanish and biochemical pharmacology, from The State University of New York at Buffalo. She subsequently obtained her master of science in physician assistant studies from Shenandoah University.
With over 16 years of experience in both hospital and outpatient-based practice, Megan has developed a reputation for clinical excellence and meticulous patient management. She began her career in Syracuse, New York, where she spent four years in vascular surgery before joining Valley Health. During her decade-plus tenure at Winchester Medical Center, she has served in significant leadership capacities, including serving as Lead PA and co-chairing the Advance Practice Advisory Council.
A dedicated advocate for modernizing healthcare delivery, Megan has been a "Provider Champion" for clinical content and process improvement. Her work in clinical informatics and ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols reflects her commitment to patient safety and evidence-based outcomes. She is a long-standing Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
In her role with the urology service, Megan leverages her extensive procedural background and multidisciplinary approach to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the community.
Megan is married with very active twins and a lovable dog. She enjoys running, reading young adult fiction, puzzles, hiking, and exploring the area by camping with her family in their pop-up.
