Family Connections: The Miles

Meet the Miles family! Julia and Hayden Miles work in the Neuro Diagnostic Lab and IT, respectively. Read their story in this week's Family Connections.

What do you like about working with your son? It’s a bright spot in my day to be able to walk through the halls and see Hayden. I love hearing “Hi Mom.” I really enjoy having lunch together when our schedules allow. Also, Hayden is my department IT tech, so when I have trouble with my computer and printers he is able to answer all my questions. Of course he always says, “Mom, it’s operator error.” Haha.

Why did you choose Valley Health? My mom worked at VHS. She mentioned to me I should apply. And I did. I have been here with VHS for almost 36 years. I love people I work with and the patients. So when Hayden was looking for a job, I encouraged him to apply also. So you can say we have had three generations here at VHS.

What do you like about working with your mom? I really enjoy the days we get to eat lunch together.
