Urgent vs. Quick Care: What's the Difference?

Valley Health is expanding our Urgent Care and Quick Care locations, to help you feel better, faster. With these new options and locations, it's important to determine what level of care you might need.

Valley Health Urgent Care

When your medical needs fall somewhere between an emergency room visit and waiting to book an appointment with your doctor, Valley Health Urgent Care is the place to go. With onsite X-ray and lab services, our urgent care locations are able to care for a wide range on non-emergency healthcare needs including fevers, illnesses, sprains and strains. With three convenient locations and extended evening and weekend hours, Valley Health Urgent Care’s physicians, nurses and advanced care practitioners can treat a variety of symptoms and illnesses.

Valley Health Urgent Care locations:

  • Front Royal, Virginia
  • Winchester, Virginia (Coming soon! Second Location in Rutherford Crossing Shopping Center)
  • Martinsburg, West Virginia
  • Ranson, West Virginia (Opening June 28, 2017)

Valley Health Quick Care

Valley Health Quick Care locations are staffed by Advanced Practice Clinicians who are ready to treat common illnesses and symptoms such as flu, allergies, strep throat, minor cuts, upper respiratory infections, and more. X-ray and lab services are not available at Valley Health Quick Care, so if you or a loved one has an injury or illness requiring x-ray or lab work, you may be directed to one of our Urgent Care locations.

Valley Health Quick Care locations:

  • Strasburg, VA
  • Spring Mills, WV

Both Valley Health Urgent Care and Valley Health Quick Care provide sports physicals and immunizations year-round. All locations offer online check-in so you can view wait times, choose the time that works best for you, and reserve your spot before you even walk through the door.
