S. David Morris, MD
Dr. S. David Morris is a lifelong resident of the West Virginia area and
prominent member of the community. He is an alumnus of WVU and an avid
college football fan (go Mountaineers!). Dr. Morris lives in Martinsburg
with his wife, Dawn, and daughter Sydney. In his spare time, you can find
Dr. Morris helping at the Good Samaritan Free Clinic, catching a football
or basketball game, visiting Deep Creek and attending church with his family.
S. Ryan Morris, MD
Dr. Ryan Morris is a lifelong resident of Martinsburg, leaving only to
attend WVU, from where he graduated in 2013. Dr. Ryan Morris specializes
in Internal Medicine and has been with the practice since he graduated.
He is an avid WVU fan and loves to watch and attend college football games.
In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Erin, and
playing with his dogs, Steadman and Geno.
Stephanie Gladden, FNP-BC
Nurse practitioner, Stephanie Gladden has been providing care to families
at Valley Health for over two years. She joins the team of providers at
Valley Health Berkeley Family Medicine and will see patients of all ages.
Candice Moreland, PA-C
Candice is a lifelong resident of West Virginia. She earned her undergraduate
degree in Chemistry at Hood College in 2008 and then went to Shenandoah
University to complete her Physician Assistant training in 2010. Following
graduation, Candice went to work for the National Institutes of Health
(NIH), where she contributed to cancer research and co-authored three
publications. Candice is married with two beautiful children. In her spare
time, she enjoys spending time with family, her two dogs and being outdoors.
Denise Pettit, PA-C
Denise is a native of the Martinsburg area and a Martinsburg High School
graduate. Denise attended Glenville State College, where she played volleyball,
and graduated from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania. Outside of work,
Denise enjoys spending time with family and going to her children's sporting events.
James Payne, PA-C
James is from Culpeper, VA and graduated from James Madison University
with a degree in Biology before completing the Physician Assistant program
at Alderson Broaddus. Jim and his wife, Rebekah, enjoy camping, hiking
and outdoor activities.

- Sports physicals at reduced rates for Jefferson and Berkeley counties

Your first visit to Valley Health Berkeley Family Medicine establishes
a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit,
we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical
history, and give you time to get to know your doctor.
We ask that you bring your driver's license or photo ID, insurance card(s)
and any copay that may be due to your first appointment. If you are taking
any medications, it is beneficial for you to bring your complete medication
list or the bottles of your current prescription and over-the-counter
medications. By providing us with this information, we are able to see
you promptly and maintain an accurate record of information for you. If
you would like to transfer your medical records to our office, please
contact our office to request the transfer forms. Once the forms are completed
and returned, we can move forward with obtaining your records and schedule
an appointment for you.
If you have received health care services at Valley Health Berkeley Family
Medicine or any Valley Health hospital, Urgent Care, or Quick Care location,
portions of your medical record can be found in MyChart. With MyChart
you can also securely communicate with members of your care team.

Valley Health Urgent Care
Express is a fast and convenient care option for those seeking immediate healthcare
attention for common symptoms. Located inside Valley Health Berkeley Family
Medicine, Valley Health Urgent Care
Express accepts walk-in patients of all ages regardless of whether or not you
are a patient of Valley Health Berkeley Family Medicine.
Commonly treated conditions include:
- Flu-like symptoms
- Allergy symptoms
- Sinus congestion and infections
- Sore and strep throat
- Upper respiratory infections
- Pink eye and sties
- Urinary tract and bladder infections
- Minor cuts
- Insect bites
- Sprains and strains
- Poison Ivy/Oak
Please call 911 or visit your local emergency Department if you have any
of the following symptoms:
- Severe shortness of breath of difficulty breathing
- Chest pains
For our patients, we offer onsite laboratory testing . Laboratory testing
is also available at
Valley Health Urgent Care.
We will not only take care of you for your immediate need but also, if
desired, we will schedule a follow-up visit with one of our board-certified
physicians. If you require a referral to a specialist, we will manage
this process for you as well to help ensure your path to wellness is successful!
