Low back pain has been estimated to effect 15-20% of adults in any given
year and 80% over the course of their lifetime.
Furthermore, it has been estimated that at some point, 28% of adults will
experience disabling low back pain.
For the vast majority of patients, a source of spine pain can be identified.
Physical exam and diagnostic imaging findings alone may not be sufficient
to determine the specific source of neck or back pain. Image-guided diagnostic
procedures can provide additional information to better target and treat
painful spine conditions.
At
Valley Health Interventional Spine, we specialize in utilizing an evidence-based approach to accurately diagnose
and treat painful spine conditions through the use of image-guided, minimally
invasive procedures.
