Our Breastfeeding eClass includes 60 days of access to our E-learning class,
email access to our Family Education Team and an informal group meeting
for parents who have completed the Understanding Breastfeeding eClass.
Discussion topics will be determined by the concerns of those women in
attendance, as well as common concerns for breastfeeding mothers. The
sessions will be held at Winchester Medical Center and facilitated by
our Lactation Consultants.
Our e-class is an eight-chapter, interactive, web-based class that uses
videos, personal breastfeeding stories, animations, activities, and games
to teach all the essential information parents need to know to prepare
for their birth. It will help you to understand:
- How breastfeeding works
- How to breastfeed
- When to nurse your baby
- How to care for your breasts
- How and when to pump
- How to maintain your milk supply
